About Me

I was born in Modesto, California on a Sunday in July.  I am the youngest of four children, but my eldest sibling is 12.75 years older than me so her children are almost like additional siblings.  I have lived most of my life in the San Joaquin Valley in California.  The few times I strayed from Tulare County, I returned. 

One of the places I strayed was to Phoenix, Arizona with the intention of going to Arizona State University.  Instead in 2006, I welcomed a son who has made life both challenging and rewarding.  I truly believe it takes a village to raise a child and without the people in my family that help watch over my son, I would be lost.  I say he is a challenge because he has a unique outlook on life and a love (read obsession) for all things Pokemon. My son was also blessed with Asperger's.

I am an avid book reader, movie watcher and video gamer.  My drug of choice is sci-fi/fantasy books, comedy/action movies and RPG video games.  I have played almost all MMORPGs and I'm currently taking a sabbatical from that genre to pursue other games for the moment.  (I still hold active subscriptions to at least 5 MMOs though.) 

I have been married and subsequently divorced twice.  Call me crazy, but I think marriage should be about compromise and appreciation for your spouse.  If any of that comes from only one side, then things are broken. 

This Blog

This blog will serve to be a sounding board for whatever I feel I should be writing on any given day.  It could be about relationships, or being a mom or what technology has been released that I don't think I can live without.   Enjoy the ride!
